I have never been so cold in my life as I have been the last week or so. It makes me realize how lucky I have been because I know now that I've never really experienced cold--real cold, the kind that goes right through you as soon as you step outside. Lately I've been looking longingly on Amazon for a warm hat (which I don't need because I've already got several). Then on to a few shoe sites to gaze at lined boots (of which I would probably never wear).
My only purchase in the last week were the slippers on the left. Marked down to $6.50 at Bed Bath and Beyond in the Hendersonville mall, I just couldn't resist.
And yes, they are really warm!
