After I fought for 7 years to get a cat for the office, picked her from literally dozens of others at the shelter, paid for her, spent time brushing & talking to her, after all that (not to mention keeping her litter box clean, who's desk does she hang out on?
Chloe did that too, but she came right back to me a few days later. Your cat will (hopefully) realize soon who she should be loyal to. She'll be back. Don't worry. :)
