My new office kitty that I was going to be the foster parent of was adopted before I even got to take her to her new home. I'm both happy & sad right now.
if you'd like a permanent office kitty, Asheville Humane Society is waiving the adoption fees for older cats in the month of June (older meaning, older than 9 months.) www.ashevillehumane.org My husband won't let me bring one home. :( Apparently, ours is already too much to handle.
Tell him that sometimes 2 cats are just the ticket, they keep each other company. At one time we had 4 & it really wasn't much more work. Thanks for the tip--I'll check it out. I do want an older cat--they are the least likely to find a home.
