Not because it's halloween, because of the report out yesterday proving that junk food is just as addictive as hard drugs (& in my opinion, just as bad). There' no stigma to eating doritos, candy bars, etc., especially when you're young, & by the time you're in high school it's too late--you're already addicted & destined for a life of health-related problems.
Sound extreme? Care to challenge me on it?
What I want to know is how eating in the US got so out of hand in the first place. When I was a kid the television was already full of "eat this" messages for everything from candy to cereal to soda.
